What it checks
How many of the channel's videos have drawn no reaction at all.
The exact rule
- The share of the channel's public videos with 0 comments and 0 likes, from 0% to 100%.
- A video with comments turned off or its like count hidden can't be judged, so it is left out of both the count and the total. Videos made for kids have comments off, which is why they don't count against a channel.
- It is N/A when none of the channel's videos can be judged.
Why it can point to spam
Real viewers leave traces: a like here, a comment there. Videos that nobody reacts to at all, in large numbers, are typical of channels that upload in bulk for search traffic.
When it fires on a legitimate channel
New channels, niche topics and personal uploads often get no reaction for a long time. A channel that is just starting can read high here without anything being wrong.
How to change it
There is no setting for this; it changes as viewers react. Don't buy likes or comments: YouTube's fake engagement policy forbids it.
