Spam indicator

Videos consistently longer than 40 minutes

What it checks

How many of the channel's videos are 40 minutes or longer.

The exact rule

The share of the channel's public videos lasting 40 minutes or more, from 0% to 100%.

Why it can point to spam

Reuploaded films, whole TV episodes and looped compilations are long, so channels built on them read high.

When it fires on a legitimate channel

Podcasts, lectures, live-stream archives, long gaming sessions and sleep or study music all run long. For those channels a high reading is expected and harmless.

Can it be changed?

If you run the channel and make long videos, there is nothing to fix. Don't cut videos short for this check.
